Single-Origin, Island of Java, Indonesia
These beans are from a small farm in the Bondowosa region of East Java, one of Indonesia's many islands. This lot is a natural processed coffee. Raw coffee cherries are picked at their best ripping point, cleaned and sorted by flotation, then dried on raised beds for two weeks.
There are only a few places in Indonesia that have natural processed beans (most are wet-hulled processed), so we feel lucky to have these at our roastery.
This coffee is smooth, medium-bodied, with a gentle sweetness and low acidity.
