Limited Edition Roast
Introducing our newest Limited Edition Roast, Single-Origin Mexican "Blue Skull". These coffee beans comes from a small family farm in Chiapas, which is located in southern Mexico.
Farm owner Mario Santiz Lopez developed his love for growing coffee from a very young age. He eventually bought his own parcel, Vista Hermosa, in Pantelho, Chiapas. Mario and his family cultivate and practice growing techniques that not only are plague-resistant, sustainable, and healthier for the plants and planet, but also produce quality coffees. These guys made huge efforts this year to produce high quality coffee and are well on their way to becoming winners of the Cup of Excellence!
Process: Wet-Hulled (also known as "semi-washed", the outer fruit layer of the coffee cherry is washed off, but some of the meat is left on the bean and sun-dried for several days)
Tasting Notes: Orange blossom, tropical, spicy with subtle flavors of fig, nutmeg, and dates. Honeysuckle aroma.
