Scott is a SCA Certified Coffee Roaster and Chief Adventurer. He truly shows a passion and love for the outdoors through his coffee roasting. Scott develops all of Snowy Elk's craft-roasts. He has spent time traveling the world, experiencing a variety of cultures. With education in Adventure Tourism and Microbiology, he dives deep into the science and culture of what makes coffee unique and timeless.
Scott spent several years in the Rocky Mountain craft beer industry. Just like brewing beer, there is similar complexity to roasting coffee. Scott replaced grain with coffee beans, and Snowy Elk was born.
An avid coffee drinker himself, he hopes to provide unique and creative roasts to pair with every outdoor adventure.
