Sales Representative (Part-Time)
Snowy Elk Coffee Company is looking for a responsible, self-motivated and ambitious Sales Representative to assist in managing sales for our wholesale program. This position is remote and part-time with an expectation of approximately 20 hours per week. We are looking for someone that represents the Snowy Elk brand (expressing a passion for outdoor adventure and craft coffee) with the initiative to improve and help build our wholesale and business retail divisions. This includes preparing some sales materials, communicating clearly, and the full spectrum of sales, such as: availability for cold phone calls, meetings, seeking out new customers, and maintaining and building relationships with current customers. The direction and focus of this sales position will be at the guidance of Snowy Elk, for example, you may be directed to focus on certain types of accounts and/or certain regions.
Major Responsibilities:
Finding and engaging with new customers through referrals, networking and cold calls
Maintaining relationships with all customers, including check-in calls, follow-up emails
Assist in developing and creating sales materials, when necessary
Providing weekly progress reports for supervisors
Required Skills:
Some direct sales experience
Refined professional written and oral skills, including being friendly and outgoing
Excellent customer service
Confidence when approaching and speaking to potential clients
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience and interest in the coffee industry
Compensation
Base monthly pay + commission on new account orders and reorders
