Let's take organic coffee farming one step further...biodynamic farming. A more holistic and sustainable farming process that involves intense plant composting, grazing rotations and harmonious decomposition. As a result, rich and healthy soil is produced that encourages specific microbial soil activity. The coffee grown in biodynamic soils are known to be some of the highest quality and most delicious, with complex and intentional flavors.
This coffee is a Guatemalan bean from the Finca La Montanita Farm. It is called "orange peel processed" because the green beans are dried alongside sweet fresh oranges.

This unique espresso roast is a blend that includes the 100% biodynamic Guatemalan coffee bean from the Finca La Montanita Farm. It is an "orange peel processed" coffee because the green beans are dried alongside sweet fresh oranges. Prior to roasting, the beans were aged in local bourbon barrels within the Snowy Elk roasting facility. Craft roasted to perfection, this special espresso blend will blow your mind!

Costa Rica, La Abeja (Red Honey)
A Special Costa Rican Roast
From the small region of Tarrazu in Costa Rica, this coffee bean is processed through the Red Honey process.
The coffee cherry (freshly picked from the coffee tree) is fermented for just over a week, until the fruit turns a dark red color. Then the coffee bean is extracted and dried under the sun. This Red Honey process results in a very pleasant tasting profile with accentuated sweetness, body and citrusy overtones.
